Shawn Smith (John Smith)
Shawn is in awe of the tenacity, fire, and effort that Ben and Tracy have exhibited in the production of these pieces. He's been an admirer of S-Martkino / Insurgent Theatre's productions for some time and is thankful to Ben, Tracy and Mike for providing him with this opportunity. Shawn's representative roles include King Shahrayar in Theater X's Arabian Nights, Berenger in Rhinoceros with Windfall Theater, Friar Lawrence in R&J at the Boulevarde directed by Maureen Kilmurry, and Uncle in Change Your Bedding! with Milwaukee Dance Theater, directed by Wes Savik. "There is a Cathedral in Chartres. One night, during a storm, lightning struck the Cathedral and it burnt to the ground. The next day people from all walks of life and trades came from the town and all over the countryside to rebuild the Cathedral. And to this day, no one knows who built the Cathedral of Chartres."
